CODISSIA refers to The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association, a driving force behind INTEC.
Codissia is an ISO 9001:2000 organisation that has taken upon itself the onus of preparing the industries of Coimbatore to face up to the challenges of a transforming industrial scenario.
It is the only District Level Association in the whole of India to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with [VDMA] Plant and Machinery Manufacturers Association/ Bavarian Section of West Germany.
Through this it endeavours to work together in assisting the members to identify new technologies/ promote joint ventures, technology transfers and to send trade delegations etc. to foreign countries like Germany.
